Torn Lives is a collection of three distressing stories. They each have to do with love ..or hate ..and anything and everything in between.

In THE PILLOW TALK THAT BETRAYED HER, Shaunia Blackman falls hard for a tall, dark and handsome man. But he has his own agenda and it will rip her life apart.

A VIOLET TURN is about a man who loves a woman who has a hidden side. When she doesn't get what she wants and when she wants it, things can turn deadly.

THE VENGEANCE THEY DIDN'T SEE COMING tells the story of two people looking for justice for a man who suffered a tragedy at the hands of another. So how can they make him pay for what he did?

The stories are interesting enough, but I was expecting a bit more suspense than what is offered here. Some of the characters I really liked .. and then there are others that I wanted to reach through the pages and shake some sense into them.

A splendid read for anyone who enjoys stories about love lost and gained.

The first story even includes mystery as the female protagonist tries to understand what’s going on with the man she hoped could rekindle her trust in passion and relationships. The second story takes on a harsh tone about abuse, this time the woman as the abuser and the man facing hurt and doubts while trying to remedy the situation. Another story is filled with suspense as a woman is tormented by a violent criminal and manages to overcome her fears with the help of her lifelong love. Poems follow the stories.

Torn Lives is well-written and keeps the reader captivated by each tale.
This was given to me as a wonderful gift. I had enjoyed reading this book. It feels so realistic at times. Definitely a reading pleasure. I dare you come and read to get a view on this book.
I really enjoyed reading this book. The story line was great, the characters fascinating..
Short stories that are hard to read, but they are good Like any short story book, some are good, some are ok. But, there is usually something for everyone. My favorite The Vegeance; I did not see the coming. Thanks to NetGalley, the author and the publisher for the ARC of this book. Although I received the book in this manner, it did not affect my opinion of this book nor my review.
